Since our launch in late 2005 the TextureBin has grown to house more than 1700 high resolution textures and has amassed over 3,000 registered members! We have grown out of the mold that was once The TextureBin and joined forces with XNAResources.com to become XNATextures.com! Our new site still has all the same great content that used to be available on The TextureBin but we have reworked the entire site to accomodate the higher amount of traffic we have now almost 2 years after our launch. Below are some of the key changes we made during this transition: 1000% speed increase over our previous site! Simpler, more streamlined experience New membership structure More frequent updates More available bandwidth for downloads Improved Search Engine Of course with the increased need for bandwith and hosting space comes the need for the site to be able to support itself financially... enter our new membership structure! We no longer offer a totally free membership... our Standard membership now carries a ONE TIME FEE of $25... thats it... just a one time fee to get you access to the medium resolution versions of all the content available at our site. The price of our Premium membership has been lowered to a ONE TIME FEE of just $50! Thats right... no more one year memberships! Pay once and get access to our content as long as the site exists! What happens to my membership from The TextureBin? Standard Memberships If you previously had a free STANDARD membership at The TextureBin you account has been converted to a free Trial account... new Trail accounts are only valid for 15 days but since you were a registered user at The TextureBin your trial account will be valid for 6 weeks! Premium Memberships If you previously had a one year PREMIUM membership at The TextureBin your account will be converted to our new "lifetime" Premium membership! Thats right... you will never be charged again and can download all or our premium content for as long as the site is in operation!
